March Madness!!! It has begun!

Man this was a good last week! we did a lot of stuff!
Like last week of the cambio, 2 birthdays, a baptism trip, Conference with a General Authority= Elder Texiera President of Area 70 for South America!!

We had a great cambio together!

 

Oh yeah we had some fun on my birthday!! Ice cream Potatoes! 

And they bought me a pie! 

And I had to do a March Madness Bracket! 

Then Elder Webster had an investigator that wanted him to be the baptizer. So we had a fun trip going to his last sector in San Carlos! We woke up at 5 in the morning and went on really nice buses! Did everything, walked around for a little. It was a really nice city. Kinda reminded me of something like Twin Falls :) 

Then the Conference was soooo good! Elder Texiera speaks 5 languages! And had a lot of cool stories and a lot of things that as a mission we need to work on, cuz apparently we aren't doing so hot compared to other missions. But I'm pretty sure he was looking at the statistics from last year. Cuz we have improved a lot cuz of Prezidente Catala. So now we just have to keep it going! 

And well after 5 cambios and like 8 months in Chiguayante in La Pradera. With a lot done and a perfect way to start a mission, I will be leaving my first sector to go to..... SAN CARLOS B! The old sector of elder Webster! 

And my comp will be Elder Souza from Brazil! And I'm ready to go at it!

Wow! It was a great week!
We had some great lessons, found some new people to teach, had some fun, more insanity, went to the GYM!, reorganized the house a little bit to make it more spacious, and we had ¡¡2 BAPTISMS and 3 CONFIRMATIONS!! yeah yeah!!

This was a great opportunity to teach these guys!
It all started out with a member just baring her testimony on the bus. When at this time Cinthia (the mom) was looking for something better in life. To start over. To be born again...
and then couple things lead to another and this member gave us her address. And we went. We taught. We testified. And now she has this second chance in life to help her family and start over clean again. And her son Nicolas has 8 years so yep :) It was so cool.

And other than that not much more just one more week in the cambio, and one more week being 18! Wow! Now that's crazy!!

Wow! another week down!

Was another great week! That we had a lot of fun, lessons, workouts, service, mission call, and all!

This is Leo Rubio. And he is awesome! He comes out with us to work almost everyday to prepare for his mission! And now has been called to serve in the Chile, Viña del Mar Mission! And leaves April 12th! Elder Blonde! 

Also it was state basketball week, so of course had to drink some chocolate milk! yeah yeah! 

And that's about it for the week! Was kinda normal! And great! Thanks everyone for all the love and support! Just "Do Good"TM

Vamos! Vamos!

Well this was a great week! 
Lots of experiences that are difficult to explain only with words.
But we went to a funeral thing from my first Convert, Orfalinda who passed away the other day, and went with about 10 members and we sang and shared some things about Her and The Plan of Salvation. And well, the Spirit was and was powerful and we helped them (her family) recognize that death is only a step in this Great Plan. It was Really cool :) And to think about it all she was the very first door that I knocked on in my Mission.

And this is Richard! Well we thought that he was a member when his wife got baptized, but then we found out that well he didn't have any records so yeah! Then When I was baptizing him well he kinda jumped back! haha and #Splash but still pretty cool!

Then we went to the beach today! :) Its the Ocean!

Another one bites the dust!

Wow! What a week!
We had Zone Conference this week, a Baptism, went to the temple, Talking with Prez, A lot of sweet stuff!!!
The Conference was a lot about how we can work more effectively. And that now we have a Forumla that's called... Formula 1. It's 20+7+4+4=1 means 20 lessones with member + 7 news + 4 with baptism date + 4 in the church = 1 Baptism for every week. We have a mission goal to get 1000 baptisms in 2017 and in 2016 we had 416. But the pace of this race is speeding up! And we are going with it! And I love it! 

 

This is Pedro. He is 78 years young. And I told him that if he got baptized all of his wildest dreams would come true... haha no that's just a joke :) But he does have a cool story! At first he wanted to go to the river to follow Jesus exactly but last second changed his mind to the warm font :) 



Took some recent converts to the temple. Where Presidente Catala gave a class about what a temple is and the importance. And then some experiences that he has had and him and his wife sang too. It was sweet! 

The temple is moving good!

On a mini cambio me and Elder Fuentes went to the only Mexicana in the ward cuz she was making Hot Tamales! And he hasn't had them in a year and a half! haha 

But other than that I don't remember a whole lot more!

Wow time is sure flying!

I'm pretty sure that yesterday I was here writing about the last last week? haha
This week was a good one!
The first week without Elder Sowards in the House! But that's okay, he got replaced by a dope Mexicano! Elder Fuentes who is like an Olympic Gymnist or something like that! haha
So now in the mornings our workouts are so much better. We started doing Insanity! yeah! And it's pretty sweet!
Also this... yesterday I confirmed my first person in sacrament meeting. That was way cool! The Spirit filled me with every single word that I had to say! So awesome!

 

I had to go with Elder Baker and Fuentes the Zone leaders for the day while my comp was in training to be District leader and well I guess I just worked them a little hard... haha But it was a really fun day!! 



For the Zone Activity last week I thought of the idea of doing the bagged omelettes for everyone! Cuz they all wanted food! So I did it :)

  And it was good too! and nobody had heard of it before so yeah! was pretty neat!

Wow! Camio #4 done!

Wow what a great week to end the Cambio!
So many Miracles came in to play!
And even though I missed the Super Bowl this year I still put in my work!

So we got 2 Baptisms this cambio with 181 lessons! boom!

  Mini Cambio with a Brazilian! 

And this also happened this week! I got to see Colman again!  

  This is Cristina and with this one I baptized a person and a half ;) ;)  

But her story is that she has been going to church sometimes. So we went to their house on Thursday and Shared Alma 7 with her with a great member. And put her with fetcha for yesterday! And well it happened! We found them in my 7th week here.

The dad is a member now we are working with the kids! 

  Then She has a cool Story.

This is Catalina. We found her our 3rd week here. 

And well she was in a kinda bad situation so that she had to leave and live with her aunt who is a member and in that week we found her! Then there was ups and downs. Til she made the firm choice that she needs this in her life and changed her life around! And now we are working on her getting her Patriarcal blessing! So awesome! And gave a strong testimony afterwards! 

  Then we also had a service project that we did on Saturday! With 4 zones! 

And well we Bucked some Hay! I'd just like to thank Andrew Wade Hiek for teaching me how to do that! ;)  If you want you can look at the blog for pics! I'm wearing hyper orange shorts! ;) 

And for next cambio.... I'll be staying here with Elder Webster for another 6 weeks!! I love it!! Lets Goo!! This like never happens...
