Wow! 6 months has flown by!

This week was the last week of this cambio. 

And well I had a good one! 

With lots of lessons, lots of singing this week to a bunch of people! Christmas Conference,

and Navidad!! Yeah!! Yeah!! 

But for this next cambio coming up I'll be...... Staying here in Chiguayante the ward La Pradera for 6 more weeks!! yeah! yeah! The only bad part is that it wont be with Elder Colman... 

but my new Comp is called Elder Webster and he´s from Canada! 

But for right now I just wanted to give a little thanks to my Dad of the Mission! He has taught me so many things! And he was such a good companion to have as the 1st one of my mission! We put in the work! And got the results! 

A little background on him is he was only baptized 3 years ago and then left on the mish! with a lot going on at home! 

And Thanks to him leaving at this time I had the chance to know him.

This guy from Paraguay is going to be a good one! Have a good one Elder Colman! 

This week we also did this to Piti Ossy... 

Yep... ;) haha 

 Navidad!= Christmas! 

The dinner that we finally had! Was really good! :) With hermano Ortiz! 

 

Also had the great chance to talk to my fam! Everything is all good!! And sooo much snow!! :) 

And also before the skype the member had this on the tv and well you can't really tell him to turn it off right? haha ;)  man KD, Steph, and Klay... Wow!

Also had Watermelooon! Was great! 

But over all I had a good Christmas :) I really noticed "Christ"mas"

in spanish Más=More so I really like that! 

I know without a doubt that Jesus is the Christ, our Savior, and without him it would be impossible to live with our families forever.

Things are looking good!

This was another great week! 

Lots of activities! 

Lots of lessons!

And Tons of fun! 

And I also don't remember a lot haha! Just this stuff: 

We had an open house type of thing in a church. Where my comp and I taught these poster things. We taught about The Plan of Salvation to Jesus Christ Our Savior to the Great Apostasy like a tour all in about 5 minutes! Was great! 

We also had our ward Christmas party was pretty sweet! They had a nice play set up! And then the Missionaries in the ward sang a song!! yeah! Colman, Sowards and me sang 'Angels we have heard on high' while Baker played the Cello! Was super good! Then there was a bunch of food! And a Dance! Then we left at this point. But the best part was that 10 investigators went!! Yeah! 

But you all have a very Merry Christmas! and "Do Good"TM

¡Hola!

This week was a great one!

We got all of our goals! 

Lots of lessons! 

Activities! 

Stake conference! 

Knocked a ton of doors! 

Wow! Can't get any better than this! 

1st with the Doors: don't know if I've already said this or not, but knocking doors is a little different here. I don't actually touch the doors :) it's pretty fun, you just yell "Ah lo!" 

The activities were fun! We played some ping pong for one of them, and for the other musical chairs! always with a devo thing before :) 

And if you were wondering about stake conference. It's the same! Always packed! And after people running to their cars like a track meet!  ;) haha but it was good! All about missionary work! So yeah! I liked it! haha our President talked too! And I sat by a kid with Down Syndrome and got to talk to him the whole time :) 

It was all about how anyone can help with this great work! And how all the small things add up! 

So if you want to get blessings an easy way is to participate in this great work! And it's easy! 

And I know this is true. 

Gators are progressing really good we are going to have a baptism really soon! SO woohoo! haha

Had A Great week this week!

Lots of everything this week!

But the big thing was we had a Conference with Elder Packer from the 70! And yes the son of the Apostle.

It was so good. And now he wants us to have a baptism every single week because like he said "the times are changing" It was super super gooooood! And he sounds just like his Dad!
It was pure Inspiration!

I know that I can't be doing anything better in this world right now! This work is so great!

This week flew by! It was a pretty normal week. Taught a bunch of lessons with a lot of service! And some soccer too!

Oh we had 2 activities too! Where a lot of Gators came and participated! Where we shared a lesson watched a video then ate some food! They were great! 

And also had Zone Conference this week! 

It was fun! We played lifesize foosball! While answering questions about Preach my Gospel! Elder Contreras and I Dominated! 

And well I have a lot of pics from this week! But for some reason it is not working... and I can't see them so yeah... I'm going to try and figure that out and then hopefully I will send them next week! 

But for now! All I have to say is...

Another week down!

This week was another good one!

And as usual lots of lessons, lots of fun times in the house, lots of investigators, lots of FOOD! And not enough time to write it all!

But the main big thing that happened this week was the Re-Dedication of the Mission!
It was really cool the whole mission was all on knees at the same time while Presidente Catala rededicated the mission! It felt cool! And now I guess we have more power when teaching!
So that's pretty sweet!

Confirmed Magdalena this week too! Was super good!
Oh! And also this past Sunday was the Primary Program! It was so sweet! And just like back at home! The church doesn't change at all no matter where you are at in the world!

But other than that it was a pretty normal week!

Go do something nice for someone today!

Had a Noche de Hogar=FHE with this family! We are teaching the one that is 15 in the pic. She is the niece of this fam that are members! And she reminds me a lot of Sydnie Stanger! haha

Elder Colman completed 1 year in the mish! So he burnt a shirt! Apparently this is a tradition... Not sure if I'm going to do that! haha 

¡¡EarthQuake!! And the end of this Cambio!

Wow!! What a great week! I don't know if the earthquake happened because of the earth plate things moving... Or if Elder Colman and Elder Hope are working so hard¡? haha

But I'm going to be here in La Pradera for 6 more weeks! And the zone leaders said that this never happens to be with a comp for 3 cambios! = transfers! I guess we work really well together! 

And well last cambio I said that I knew that we could work harder, and well I was right! 

Cuz we got in 145 lessons this past 6 weeks! 145!!! And no joke! With 3 baptisms! And a whole lot of fun! and I can't wait for this next 6 weeks! Cuz it has a lot of potential and Christmas!! :)

Now about the earthquake this week! It wasn't very big but it was cool! It was a 5.9. and started at 2 o'clock in the morning and at 1:52 I woke up really warm so I threw my sleeping bag off and then it started! It just kinda shook the house a little bit :) but everything is alright! :) 

And I know if anything worse is to come Heavenly Father has got my back!

But this week did a lot of service too! A lady in the ward garage fell so we destroyed it more and then built it better :) and also helping this guy build a second story on this guys house!

This Transfer! 

Tried to cut Elder Colmans hair and cut the power...

Me and Elder Sowards fixed the lock on the door and made it better after it fell off! 

Mini cambio with Elder Contreras and well he is from Santiago and so we watched the soccer game with their Gator! 

 

And this is Magdalena! She is 28! She is awesome! We found her 3 weeks ago! And does/reads/studies every thing that we leave! 

She had a cool dream/revelation about how she is going to go get baptized for her aunt and cousin that died a couple of years ago. Super spiritual!

Another Great Week!

Sector: La Pradera B (translated to English means = The Prairie) and I figured that out when one of the houses had the TV on for Pequeña casa en La Pradera haha ;)

This week was so great! 

Investigators progressing a lot!

We have one right now that is of gold! She reads... nah studies everything we give her! And already has a testimony of the book of mormon! And right now is in 2 Nephi 20 and we gave it to her last week!!! 

But also had 7 people come to church! So that helps a lot! 

The lessons also just keep getting better and better too! 

Oh and last week on pday at night we had some trick or treaters! And I made them say it in english before I gave them some candy! haha 

The weather is heating up! And I love it! Cuz that means I'm only going to work harder! yeah yeah!

As as a Zone we had a BBQ today! It was fun! 

We had a lot of meat! 2 hot dog things, a pig steak and a cow steak! 

 And we also watched a movie "One Mans Treasure" it's a cheesy Missionary movie! haha We also played Basketball, ping pong, and sang some songs! 

 

:) Was the best pday so far! 

And I forgot to write about testimony meeting here! 

Oh man! It is crazy!
Right when the bishop says it's time for people to bare... It's like a Stampede! Almost every person bares their testimony!
And yeah this!

WEEK 10/16!!! 10 in the Field and 16 in the Misson!!!!!!! 1016!¡

WOW!! What a week! and Happy Halloween everyone!

Had tons of fun! and...

oh yeah! Another Baptism! 

But about the week: Was all good, chuck full of lessons! And now we have a lot of progressing investigators! And this week also flew by so I don't remember much. 

But I do remember doing splits this week. And this really put my skills and spanish to the test. And well I would say that I passed! I taught 3 good/great lessons with the member that was with me Hermano Ortiz! 

Oh also at church, it was the 5th sunday and the bishop gave it to the ward mission leader. And he wanted us to talk to everyone in the ward. So at first the Zone leaders were going to talk.... but.... they got super sick Saturday. So Sunday Elder Colman and I taught the whole 3rd hour. About how members and missionaries in La Pradera can work together! I talked about what is more effective for missionaries knocking doors , street contacts, or References. And also a plan for them to help us! All using Statistics! It went great! Taught not like myself and went longer then 10 minutes! haha like 20! 

But yeah great week! I knew it was going to be too! ;) 1016

Week 15!

Wow!! This week flew by! I don't even remember really what happened!

But I know that I went really hard this week! We had a bunch of things thrown at us but we still got our goals!

Oh Yeah! We had Zone Conference!!
It was soooo awesome!!! President is great! And the activity was awesome! I took part in the pie eating contest!
And well I WON!!!!! I ate a whole Lemon Morang PIE in 4 minutes and 2 seconds! Exactly! Not even joking!! And was still hungry! haha Hermana Catala is sending the video and photos of it so I'll probably send them next week!
And also ran through the whole church looking for little pieces of paper, felt like a little kid! haha But also won that race :)

Was a great week! Hope it all went well for all of you!

Work Hard in everything you do! And you will like the results! ;)

Week 14!!

Hola everyone!!

This week was another great week!

Had a ton of success, even though that it rained like crazy!! Wow! On sunday it was a war! It was so bad that it snapped my umbrella! But it's okay, I think I can fix it! 

But we still had the Confirmation of Nilvia! That was cool!

And if any of you have any questions for me feel free to send me a quick email :) I'm more than happy to answer them! :)

Reading the scriptures everyday is such a blessing! I find something new everyday! And I invite all of you to do that too! It is important if it is only for 10 seconds a day! I promise you that if you do, you will receive blessings that you didn't even know that were there for you. 

Just a ton of good expierences! like this one:...

Talking with one of our investigators and she told us she prayed to know if it is true and then went to bed. Then in the morning her aunt said that the last night she was talking in her sleep saying things like.. "Elder Hope talks really slow though" and she said she heard something say, "but what he is saying is for you....." Wow!!!! :) 

This is a new thing that my zone is doing and it is called Piti Ossi! And it is given to the sector that reaches the most goals! And well we did that! and Won! Now we get to make the bear more gangster like! This is the 2nd time me and Elder Colman have won. The 1st time we put the earring and the mohawk on it! haha

Week 13! Lets Go!

Ward: La Pradera

Wow this week was so good! We obtained all of our goals!! And exceeded on a couple of the misson Goals! Got another person in the house named Elder Baker. So now there is 3 gringos in the house! haha And oh yeah brought another Soul unto Christ :) Hashtag Splash! 💦

Lessons: Sooo great! 4 more Gators! I love Preaching the Word that brings so many happiness ;)

Service: As a ward today we cleaned out this old lady´s house in the ward. It reminded me of my ward a little bit. And of course it's not a mormon clean out without workers and the supervisors ;) This ward is so great! 

Lots of jokes and games in the house! Great expiences in the streets.

 This is Nilvia! My 1st baptism while I'm in the water! 

 She is so fun to teach! 

 This is the one family where the daughter came home from school one day talking about God. From my 1st couple of weeks! And well Albano had the interview and didn't pass because he is still a little bit of an Atheist. But he believes every thing about the church is true and perfect. Is just waiting for a sign...

But all is well here!
